Unique engraved solid wooden plaque representing the Gloucester Fisherman's Memorial. Words at the bottom read "They that go down to the sea in ships - 1623-1923". The Gloucester Fisherman's Memorial was intended to honor the thousands of fisherman around Gloucester who lost their lives fishing in the sea. Wooden plaque has signs of wear/scuffing consistent with age. Estimated 1970s. Measures approximately 15.75" high x 13" wide.
